My name is JANET VIEIRA
There's a certain magic when the scent of wood fills the workshop. It's a feeling of freedom, creativity and boundless potential.
Since my early years, I've explored the globe and immersed myself in various cultures. But later, as I became a wife and mother, I found myself yearning for a place to plant myself, reconnect with my heritage and watch my family grow.
That's how Roots in Portugal, and later Sawdust & Splinters Makerspace, were born.
Together, let's build a place where creativity flourishes, where every member of the community can feel empowered.
